Registered Investment Advisor

I was born in 1959. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Kiev State. I have a BA in International Studies from the University of Washington, MS in International Relations from Troy State and MBA in Finance from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. My capital markets experience includes working with both institutional and private clients, both in the US and abroad while with Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs and other firms. I have been licensed to sell insurance products since 1995.

HOW I OPERATE (fees)

I am a financial planner and investment advisor. As a financial planner I charge up to $150 per hour for consultations, depending on the complexity of your financial situation. The fee is paid after the consultations. I will give you advise on your financial concerns, including, but not limited to: investments, budgeting & bill paying, divorce settlements, money worries, retirement planning, credit counseling, insurance planning, inheritances, college funding and general tax planning. You are the sole determinant of how many hours of financial counseling you will need. You may continue for as long as you think it is necessary, or stop any time.
As an investment advisor, I will manage your account for a percentage of the assets under my management. The annual fee ranges from ½ of 1% to 2 ½ %, depending on the size and complexity of your account. The fee is paid quarterly, at the start of each quarter. If you cancel, any pre-paid fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. Additionally, I may select and monitor other money managers for you. When I do so the other money managers will pay me a portion of the fees paid to them by you. You dont pay me directly for this service.
If you wish to implement my advise by purchasing securities or insurance products directly, you are free to select any broker/dealer you wish.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Most of my clients are individuals, but I also work with pension plans, businesses, trusts, estates, banks and charitable organizations. I will give advice on (but not necessarily recommend) all types of securities, ranging from government bonds to commodities. I do fundamental security analysis. My main sources of financial information are financial newspapers and magazines, Bloomberg online service, research materials provided by others, corporate rating services, annual reports and company press releases. My investment strategy is usually investing for the long term, occasionally the short term. On occasion, I may buy or sell securities that I recommend to you. There is no conflict of interest as the securities are widely-held and publicly traded. I review managed accounts daily, financial planning accounts annually and accounts at other money managers when I receive their statements -usually quarterly. I do not prepare regular client reports- you get statements from your broker dealers, mutual funds and other money managers, as appropriate. I do not compensate anyone , directly or indirectly, for client referrals. I do not have a minimum size for client accounts. When I manage client accounts on a discretionary basis, I limit the discretionary authority by prohibiting myself from withdrawing funds and/or securities from your accounts. In addition, trading in the accounts will be limited to general securities, options, mutual funds and government securities. Finally, for managed accounts, you are free to select any broker you wish. If you want me to recommend a broker, you will get a recommendation based on the brokers costs, skills, reputation, dependability and compatibility with you, and never upon a financial arrangement between me and the recommended broker.

I will be moving my belongings in shortly.
